Michelin Man mobile “Mille-Pattes” – Michelin Collectors

At ease in all types of vehicles, Bibendum pilot – the word is not too strong – the “mille-pattes”, this unique DS that was intended for testing truck tires. Its measurements speak for themselves: weighing 9 tons and more than 7 meters long! In the 1970s, the “mille-pattes” was used to test the tires of trucks and coaches up to 160 km / h! We can find it at “L’Aventure Michelin” in Clermont-Ferrand where it is preciously preserved.
