This composition is part of the effort to play down punctures, which were one of motorists’ main worries at the turn of the century. That same year, in 1913, at the Paris Motor Show, Michelin had a young girl from the Auvergne region change a tyre. What better way to show how easy it is? This is the first pneumatic campaign on a European scale.
