The concept was inspired by Michelin’s famous Bureau des Itinéraires, founded in 1925: a service then staffed by 120 employees who, on request, sent a personalized itinerary tailored to the traveler’s needs, offering the most pleasant route. This itinerary included sites to visit along the way, as well as accommodation and restaurants recommended by travel experts. 100 years later, Michelin Editions created the first Fabuleux Itinéraires Michelin: itineraries based on the same principle of accompanying the traveller through each stage of his day, this time from a thematic angle.
