Art Print – Laurent Aiello by Jojo Bastard

This poster designed by JoJo Bastard in 1997 plays on the dynamics: Laurent Aiello’s Peugeot 406, seen from a three-quarters right angle, passes in front of a determined Michelin Man shown resolutely head-on. This poster, which was circulated after the French driver’s win in the STW Championship in Germany, resumes a long-standing tradition at Michelin whereby artists could play on the Michelin Man’s notoriety and partially hide the MICHELIN brand.
