Classic Car Getaways – Michelin

At Michelin, the adventure has always begun on the road. Some wind through the mountains, others run alongside the sea. The roads in this book have a special charm: the purr of a vintage engine, the patina of a well-worn steering wheel, the simple pleasure of taking one’s time. As the kilometers pass, the classic car becomes an invitation to see the landscape in a new light and to reconnect with the spirit of the first great journeys.

Each itinerary celebrates a France where the destination is just as important as the journey itself. Along the way, you’ll encounter enthusiasts, treasures of motoring heritage and roads that seem to have been designed purely for the pleasure of driving. A journey out of time, true to the Michelin spirit: one of discovery, freedom and encounters that make every getaway unforgettable.
